About the Author

The author of the book Moneyball is Michael Lewis. He was born October 15, 1960 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Lewis studied art history at Princeton University. He received his degree in 1982, and worked in an art gallery before moving to England. In England, Lewis studied at the London School of Economics. This is where he received his master's degree from the London School of Economics, in 1985. Michael Lewis also wrote the bestselling books include The Big Short: Inside the Doomsday Machine, Liar's Poker, The New Thing, The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game, Panic, Home Game: An Accidental Guide to Fatherhood and Boomerang. Some of these books such as The Blind Side, and Moneyball have been made into movies.
